NAF’s Year of Planning

A key component of the Academy Development Model, the Year of Planning is based on the work of dedicated Design Teams, documenting and supporting preliminary program development activities through the creation of YOP Portfolios. This work focuses on essential elements for success in an Academy, including alignment with district and school administration, building collaborative multidisciplinary teaching teams, reaching out to students and alumni, and creating effective relationships with local business and community partners.

NAF is excited to announce a new program that combines the power of NAF network members and NAFConnect to support for selected YOP teams. For more information, click on the YOP Connect link to the left.
